Sperm Festival 2011: Crossing the Shadow

The fifth edition of Sperm Festival will be held from Friday, Apr 22 to Sunday, Apr 24, 2011 in Prague's MeetFactory. This year's theme "Crossing the shadow" refers to overlaping of music and other fields of art (a/v performance, remixes) or the music industry by the artists themselves, but also reflects on the so far modest attempts of czech music community to cross its shadow and become fully integrated in European and world music scene. The festival will see the several Czech premieres - of Australian indie-pop outfit Architecture in Helsinki, British DJ and producer James Holden, dubstep wunderking Martyn or the revelation of German electronic scene - Brandt Brauer Frick.
