Pavel Ryška
Pavel was born in Třebíč in 1974. Pavlína Morganová then classified him into the last stage of the Czech action art, in her book "Action Art". In late 90's, he published a photo documentation of landart projects. He studied at the Faculty of Fine arts in Brno (educated by Peter Rónai and Petr Kvíčala), his dissertation (a digital reel Ursonata, 2004) won StartPoint (awards for artistic universitites graduates). Pavel focuses on the history of film animation and comics historiography (especially the conditions and assumptions that contributed to the written history of this medium) and teaches computer graphics at a private high school, gives lectures of the history of animation and organizes excursions about history of comics. At his last project Cheesy Dessert Pavel cooperates with electrifying acoustic musicians group "DVA".
