Filip Cenek

Originally a cinema projectionist, Filip has studied at the video atelier of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno, remaining at the university as a lecturer teaching producion and reception of moving images. His field of study is the theory and practice of non-linear sotries, animations and real-time video. Co-founded the band MIDI LIDI, where he shares the visual duties with Magdalena Hrubá and Jan Šrámek. Co-organizes festival NewNew! In Brno and has curated several exhibitions, videos and film soirées bringing fresh approach to animation.
