Boxcutter
Boxcutter aka 30 years old musician, DJ and producent Barry Lynn is foster-child of the influential Planet Mu label where he made his name with his debut album Oneiric in 2006. His third record Arecibo Message was released last year and has is usually described as “dubstep”, but don’t be fooled. Boxcutter is far away from the dubstep you might know from your average bass laden warehouse party. “Arecibo Message is one of the year’s best electronic records, sure to please weekend warriors and dedicated aficionados alike”, concludes Pop Matters magazine. At the festival, Boxcutter will perform a special set with live bass.
