If there’s anything missing in the local Czech hip-hop scene, it’s diversity. In the country of its origin, music released by Mush Records or Anticon artists is an important alternative to the wide spread MTV-rappers’ culture. Mixing traditional hip-hop elements with electronics, folk or post-rock, they create new, previously unheard music forms. Mush Records at Sperm Festival will present Daedelus, live with his magic box and in a tailcoat. In an opening listening set Gomez Pathos will present the best of the genre.
