Don’t search for any old Greek -Roman - style wrestler behind this name! It hides a girl born in Gratz , living in Vienna – Eva Jantschitsch. She was known as a co-founder of Metrosau formation, Motorsau and Songs of Suspects in the past. Eva’s music is based on electronic background influenced by sound of the guitar with a pure song structure, classical melodies and refrains.

She released her first CD ‘Retter die Wale’ at Austrian label Mosz in 2004. Her music is strongly influenced by politics, using an original poetry, which reaches punk and plaintively dark forms as in her last album. Gustav is an international singer - from German and French to English, always according to how it fits following motto: “No aims, no rules.”

We have no clue, how long will Gustav survive. Anyway, Eva is working on a new CD at the moment, based on post-traumatic experiences.
